Hi Bob,

No problem on the advanced stuff. I'm still trying to conquer backwards flying. I really have a hard time with this. It's pouring this weekend so I'm getting alot of simulated stick time. Backwards is starting to gel.

Hey bob, I have a good idea. I was told by this guy I know who use to train model heli and full size heli flyers. He said where I am now I should be doing figure 8's because I am doing really good with tail in hovering and tail in hover flight. How the heck do you do figure 8's

G2 has the flight instructor that covers the hover, FF, side/side/nose/tail hover, and a few others. But what about figure 8's. They have that for planks. I have been struggling with figure 8's for about a week.

Also, I was told that figure 8's will teach me how to side/nose/tail/side hover because you are essentially doing each as you complete the 8.

Whatcha think????

i just watched these 2 vids and i loved em,

As new as i'm to heli flying, well any RC for that matter, this stuff will get me somewhere.

I hope real soon me and all newbies out there will see some "learn how to fly"
videos, like starting to take off, hoovering with all sides and everything
else shauntot mentioned, Because as for me and no doubt a lot
more people, that will help out a lot.

like 3 months ago i bought a df036 to see if i liked the heli flying after
wanting 1 for over 25 years, and the df036 and its parts are imho cheap
enough to learn how to fly a heli and/or if i like it. Well i can say proudly...
I Love It !!!

Only learning to fly it... Dang that's hard... but I'm keeping hopes up
because after like 15 cycles on my battery and 5 crashes, I dare to say
I can hoover a little (tail in and no movement lol)

So please Bob/finless if you got the time and the mood to make vids like
that it will at least be highly appreciated from the Netherlands

(excuse my English people, I'm dutch)

I'll second (or 'third') the request for backward circuits/8's and then inverted hover and circuits/8's. Can't get my brain to do those properly yet

Ha.... the backwards stuff is where I am learning right now... I can do them somewhat on the sim but real life..... Well again that is where I am right now!

Inverted hover and inverted FF I got down it's the backwards stuff that is killing me too!
