Default Replacing the one way bearing, SUCESS!

Figured out how to do it, you need a special tool:

[ame="http://www.ebay.com/itm/182322865936?_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649&ssPageNa me=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT"]9pcs Blind Hole Bearing Hole Bushing Collet Slide Hammer Puller Remover Set | eBay[/ame]

Really all you need is the 16-18mm puller but you can't get them separately for less so might as well get the full set.

Expand the 15mm puller till it just fits inside the OOB and seats against the upper radial bearing and turn the bolt till it stops. There's enough space between the OOB and top bearing for the flange to catch. Then set a large washer on the arbor press to protect the hub and place a 15mm bolt or some other similar object you can use to push it out. Once you have it all lined up nuke it with a heat gun on high for a bit and apply some elbow grease and it'll come right out. The heat gun is necessary, I couldn't get it to even budge with a half ton press without heating the hub first.

The washer should clear the raised rim around the OOB at the bottom and you should also use the smooth side rather than the sharp side (the side it was stamped from). For good measure I further smoothed it with 1000 grit sandpaper to ensure it wouldn't mar the aluminum.

New bearings:

EDIT: Fixed the hub I ruined last year trying to press the bearings out. I caught the groove in the outer race of the radial bearing that was stuck inside the hub with one of the larger pullers in the set and popped it out.

The set also comes with an 8mm and 10mm puller that I will find useful for getting lower motor bearings and blade grip bearings out with. Wish I could find smaller pullers like this but nobody seems to make them. I'm surprised that Tarot or Gartt haven't as there is definitely some money to be made here.
