Faifa headspeed with Scorpion 4035-500?
I did a bit of looking around on the web before I started putting this Faifa together and got a Scorpion 4035-500KV motor for it. Now that I'm programming the settings in the ESC, it's telling me that the gearing combination and KV rating of the motor is not going to be able to maintain 2000rpm headspeed reliably. For others running this motor, what headspeed are you running in your Faifa??

Yep that's right around1980rpm is it.

I tached mine at 2030rpm with 53% gov on a Jive and the Pyro 750-520

Castle soft is probably gonna tell you that headspeed is too low for governing with the ratio you have from a 500kv motor. For the only pinion available from Kasama a 450kv works better. Just put 2000 and fly, it's going to govern just fine. It may not be in the best power band for the Scorpion but you might not even notice. I am flying my T700 at 1400rpm for F3C and Castle gov goes nuts over this but flies great still.
