Find a USED WORKING head first.

The kits had an issue making the heads lock up. (Of course they supported customers with that issue... back when they were a company...) Today that's a death sentence for the heli. If you get one of those kits, it'll never fly.

Just find an actual working head first before anyone considers buying a NIB kit.

Good Luck!

How do you tell a bad head from a working one? What's the fix if you have a bad one?

Dude I got five mostros so I don't need that advice.
I didn't post this to ask for anyone's opinion and also FYI every single mostro that I found at the field or at funflies having a "problem" with the head turned out to be bad setup/wrong build and I fixed them pretty quickly in every single case. I just keep quiet about those posts because my opinion would be pretty offensive to most.

Lets try this, how about not hijacking my thread and letting me find a NIB mostro without opinions about my wanting one or discussions about heads?

So again anyone that has a NIB mostro and wants to get rid of it I'll be happy to buy it from you. PM me your best price.

Dude, it's not like there is tons of activity here and someone is going to miss your thread. I have a used Mostro, but haven't put it together to fly yet, so was just curious about the issue.

I'm sure someone will pipe up if they have one for you. Best of luck.

FWIW, this thread doesn't belong here... it belongs in the Want to Buy section... also try not being so rude, it's against the rules around here
