Got my little sbus cables so I could now connect to my Hitec Optima D Rx.
All seems to work well except the throttle. Which channel does the M2 use for throttle?

Got Channel 5 working, flashing for 3D and solid for Stability mode.
Just no throttle. I have the throttle on channel 3. I have tried reversing it but that doesn't help.
Battery is fully charged.

According to the fbl, ch 1/2/3 are all servo inputs? 5 is flight mode. Channel 4/6?

Thanks. Swash plate is all working correctly so Aileron, Elevator and Pitch are setup correctly. Channel 5 is set for stability mode and channel 6 is Pitch both of which work correctly. By a process of elimination that only leaves channel 3 and 4. I have tried both and tried them reversed but still no throttle!

Got it! It was the end point adjustment. It seems that the ESC blocks the throttle channel if it is not set to zero when you connect power to the heli. The Optima was not giving zero throttle (it was higher at its lowest point). I increased the low throttle travel to 140% and now everything works as expected. I have also increased the travel to 125% on all the other channels as the movement was pretty limited. I have no binding so it all looks good. The really nice thing about the Optima is that is also gives me voltage telemetry.
I hope the weather clears up at the weekend so I can try it out with the Aurora 9x which is so much nicer that the very old Dx6i I have been using up until now.
