Default Low Battery Level For DX7 Tx?

I have a couple of DX7 radios. I've never had any problems. What is the lowest voltage I can run the transmitter at without having a problem. Is there a low voltage alarm? My manual says nothing about a low voltage point.

Yes there is a low voltage alarm. I think it goes off around 9V. At 9V the system shuts down. I made that mistake only once. Now, I never fly below 10V just to be safe. To be sure leave your radio on and see what happens. Im 90% sure it's 9V but it was so long ago I cant remember if it was 9 even.

The radio should not shut down at 9V.

At 9V at tone will warn you to land and charge the TX battery.

At 9V, the battery voltage will drop very rapidly, so you must land immediately. If you keep flying for a few minutes disaster may follow. The low voltage alarm can also be adjusted from the service menu.

if you want you can go into the service menu and increase the Votage that the alarm goes off, this way you still have some fudge room....

I use a lipo in my TX and increased my alarm to 10v so that I won't drain my lipo below 3.3v per cell if I wait for the alarm before charging...

Hmmmm....It was a long time ago but I could swear I lost all control at 9V (in a hover 5 ft in front of me.) I heard the alarm and a sec later the heli dropped.

Anyway....It does not really matter (for me.) I never fly below 10V. With a full charge (stock bat) I can fly all day and only drain it to 10.4V or so.
