Default SKY LIPO VS PULSE

Ok i recently bought a Sky Lipo 4400 30c and a pulse 4100 45c , I took the time to break them in with about 10 basic flights on them without really pushing the pack. All i can say is i will not be buying any more pulse packs over sky lipo. The sky lipo 30c hits harder and flys way longer than the pulse i know there is a 300 mah difference but im getting an extra min out of the sky vs the pulse with better performance . bums me out but the pulse is cheaper and better IMO. any thoughts out there

I think you meant to say the Sky Lipo is cheaper and better...

I've not used Pulse packs, but have several Sky 6S3000 40C that I like using in the 6HV. Terrific packs for the $$ in my experience thus far as well. They tend to be dimensioned a bit differently than many others for some reason, and their published weight specs at HobbyPartz.com are suspect, but, in the end, they've been superb value. I think I paid $40/each for mine, and one set has about 100 flights and have hit the turf at warp speed. Small dent in the front corners...no apparent affects so far. They fly like new, no puffing to date. Bought them in 2011. Bought another set last season too.

Are you using the new green pulse ultra, or the old red ones? I love my pulse ultra packs..

Pulse ultra green are relabbeled Gens Ace at whatever qc amount that Pulse pays, either way Gens Ace are pretty darn good. Never heard of sky and not sure who makes them..

I was pretty disappointed in my two pulse 4100mAh batteries that i received.

Both had highly mismatched and higher IR (that hasn't gotten better after cycling) than my zippies that I bought for less than half the price.

Both my zippies and the pulse feel like they have the same power but the zippies are only 3300mAh 30c...

HobbyPartz sells Sky. They might be Gens Ace too. They are similar.

According to hobbypartz the Sky and Blue lipo are their lower end line. They post this graph -

I don’t know about SKY’s went thru 4 5000 30C packs all never made it past 25 cycles in my Trex 700E before they hit the trash can. Three packs had 1 or more dead cells, the last one would not balance so no more Sky’s for me. I have the Green Pulse 4100 45C packs and I really like them so far no issues to report.

Packs that I did not have luck with

Outrage
Sky
Zippy
"Red" Pulse packs
Blue Lipo
Kong

I know this is kinda old, but I just bought some 3s sky lipos and need to know what the dimensions are on the banana plugs.
HP sells 30 and 34mm lengths and both have different sizes too.
30 has a 6.4mm diameter on the large plug and the 34 has a 6.7mm diameter.
So which one does the sky lipo use?
