Vision 90 vibration issue

I cannot seem to get rid of a bad vibe on my 90 vision, has anyone had any issues, my boom supports buzz like hell and my gyro doesn't like it.
Have tried everything, even stripping my engine and re-building with new bearings and still have the issue.
Has anyone had alignment issues or hub runout issues, is the only thing i have left to try

The cluctch stack on the 50 is known to cause vibes if not alinged properly, I think its the same stack on the 90 just bigger.

Did you find the reason for the vibrations?
I have the same issue!My boom supports also buzzing like hell.
I have tried everything.Checked the engine aligment,bearings,shafts,tailblades,Head dampers,Torque Tube!Really everything!!
But I canno`t find the reason for this bad vibrations.
This heli makes me crazy!

Yes, was my engine hub, but after a few months of more and more issues, gave up and sold it on

The first thing to look at is the head block, undo the two short bolts into the main shaft and if you can rock the head at all then it is in need of desperate attention!
I had major dramas recently and after replacing the head block my FBL settled down and I only had the occasional Extream Vibration alert on the Vbar but I think that was due to the vibrations from the first head destroying the rubber bearing supports on the torque tube.

I also had the issue with the spindle not centering and TRex 700 dampeners fixed it!
I am now trying the KDE head block for the TRex with some minor mods, it fits but the holes for the two short bolts into the mainshaft are a little higher so need to be elongated about 1-1.5mm

I have yet to try but I think the TRex 700 fan hub will fit with a quality fan like the G Force or Lynx and will fix any issues if you have run out when you dial indicate the fan on the motor.

Also check that the torque tube is not tight between the gears or hard against either one of the two or it will cause vibes!

Send lots of Emails to Ely.Q, If they get truck loads of Emails from alot of different people the will realise that these issues are not isolated!

Hi!
I have installed the T-Rex 700 dampeners.
My head block was loose on the mainshaft.I have glued the block with green loctide.The block is tight now.But it still vibrates.I also have installed the alloy fan.
My rubber bearing supports was also destroyed.Replaced them.
My V-Bar is faulty now at least.It drifts now to the left.This vibrations kills everything!!

I feel your pain dude!

I did try to loctite the head block and even get it true in the lathe, the problem is that when you tighten the two short bolts they pull the head block to one side or the other on the main shaft!

The drift will be caused by the vibration but it does not mean that your sensor is damaged!

I would say that the head block is the cause of your issues for sure and your fan is at this point an unknown and may be just fine!

Email Ely.Q and see what kind of responce you get. Also post on Ely.Q forum, you will find my post there and if they see lots of posts with the same issue they will most likely do somthing about it!

The T-Rex 700 have also these two short bolts in the mainshaft.There are no issues with vibrations.
My motor hub don´t fit tight on the crankshaft.When I tighten the two M3 bolts I can spin the hub on the crankshaft with much force.
For the T-Rex 700 hub you need a pulley to get it rid.The Ely Q hub can I pull off by hand.

I think Elyq know these issues, but are not being sorted.
It was a shame for me, loved my vision 50 and was hoping the 90 to be just as good but Unfortunatly just was a nightmare
I don't think I had 2 flights in a row without problems. Shearing bolts was the worst, vibrations, knackered bearings after 2 or so flights just to name a few

No vibes for me now! The head block is KDE Direct, the radius arms and links are KloneRC http://www.helikraft.com/Flybarless+...KL0153%29.html and simply bolt strait on, and the pitch links are TRex 700 FBL with drilled Thundertiger ends!
Now I just have to get some parts for the tail and it will be party time!
I have tried to show in the third picture how the KDE head block is around 10mm shorter than standard :-)

Have you flown it?Really no more vibrations?
I think I have found my vibration issue.The headblock is 0,15mm off-center.
But the main problem is the mainshaft!It´s very very soft.I think my mainshaft is not hardened.I can file it without problems.I think the mainshaft soars in flight.

It was sweet when I ran it up and checked the log on the Vbar but that was with no blades!
Indeed the head block is the biggest problem and I agree that the main shaft is soft!

Now I have mounted an completly RJX Rotorhead and a T-Rex 700 mainshaft.
But it still have the vibration issue!!!
I have heard from a Distributor that there is a problem with the maingear.Ely Q knows this and will work on this issue?What´s wrong with the maingear?

I was told not long ago that it was infact the tail drive gears and four weeks ago Ely.Q anounced on there site that the new tail drive gears are on there way out to the distributors!
