Default YEP 90LV weird startup issue

yesterday I was about to maiden my protos 380 but had this weird issue on yep 90lv

Having one sbus receiver, I've connected the throttle cable to beastx throttle output
and the other esc cable to beastx sys to have the redundant bec

The spoolup start then lower rpm, then raise again, then lower and so on

Without blades, spoolup works fine.

Tried raising the startup power to 2 - 4 - 8, no success.

Tried removing the signal cable out of the second plug (should be rpm)

Only way to make it work correctly was completely disconnecting the second plug
but this way I loose the redundant bec and I think also the sbec peak Amps will be lowered because of only one cable.

Any clue ?

I'm not familiar with the 90LV - though I have 30s, 40s, 45s, 60s and a couple of 100s ... mainly older versions.

I don't think that the second cable is a RPM signal cable - the description on the HK web-site calls it a programming lead "• ESC has separate programming lead built-in so there is no need to unplug from RX".

A number of my early YEPs have this - you plug it into the prog card to set up the ESC

unfortunately seem that the hk website is wrong as you can see from many comments

I have used the HV versions (opto) that are programmed from secondary cable
but seem that the LV are not.

All of mine that have the second cable use it for programming - but as I mentioned they are early versions

Mike, I've tested right now and in no way is possible to do the programming with prog card from the secondary cable

so now I'm scratching my head and still thinking that on sec cable I should be able to pull some more Amps from bec
plus the signal cable should be the rpm output

hope someone can help me because I would really like to have dual Bec connection

after all, seem I should have thrown that esc away

today after first minute of hovering, I've gone negative but the esc cut off

after my holydays I will fix the 380 and replace the esc with hw 60 v4
as I should have done from the start

On LV yge's it's the throttle lead you use to program, not the slave.
