Hi All
How do you attach the tail gear (TT) to the tail rotor shaft? The gear assembly has a 2mm hole through it so I assume the small shaft ~2mm diameter x ~10mm length that came with the kit is used to secure it. Should I loctite (blue/green) the shaft in place or is there a better way (flat head screw and bolt)? Im just a bit concerned that if the gear gets stripped during a bad landing/crash then that more money flying out my wallet buying a new tail rotor shaft. I appreciate any advice you guys can provide. Dean |

Once the shaft is in place, you use a grub screw to secure it. The inner hole of the tail shaft is threaded. I would thread lock everything.

Hazza is correct please use some heatshrink to insure pin stays in place. Also do not overtighten the grub screw or u risk breaking the pin.

Deanen, I don't suppose you want a spare Comp XE airframe going cheap? Selling mine to fund another project.
