I have the plain 200 Kosmik in mine, so can't say for sure if the added height of the fan on the "cool" will work for sure. I do have a 860 mah 2S pack mounted on top of Kosmik which is probably thicker than the fan but not as long or wide.

I found when installing mine on front plate that the master and slave connectors that plug into side of Kosmik rubbed the fuse when Kosmik is installed on center of mounting plate. This was resolved by shifting esc 1/4" to right (at forward section of esc) prior to securing to mounting plate. Placing the esc closer to motor also provides additional clearance at front of fuse where it really gets narrow.

I have a boroscope and will see if it provides a better answer later today.

Results of boroscope. Not the clearest image but may be useful. Not sure if you were planning on using the fan on top of the milled heat sink of the Kosmik cool. It appears the heat sink version will easily fit...if the fan frame runs up to front edge of esc, you may have clearance issues.

Not sure how hot it gets in Sweden but results of my telemetry last weekend showed the highest esc and ambient temps recorded in 68 flights (esc 158F/70C). Ambient 90F/32C, 2800 HS, 14+ pitch on 12S on a Scorpion Ultimate 4525-520 with a pair of HK NACA ducts installed.

Will be testing tomorrow with the 630 kV Scorpion, 3200 HS and ambient of 97-100F/36-38C.

Edit: prior to last weekend, esc temperature has always indicated 122F/50C or less. Ambient has been 85F/29C or less. As mentioned earlier, I did increase pitch from 13 to 14. So, I can't nail down if the rising ambient or increase in pitch caused 20 degree C increase in esc temp.

Thanks guys, good info. I'm a little bit on the fence if a Kosmik is my next hobby-buy. A used cool version might come up and best to know before. I don't think it's needed in the Swedish climate.

I installed a Cool Kosmik 160HV on mine. It was a tight fit against the canopy. I had to install it as close to the motor as physically possible. I shifted it laterally (off center) so the canopy would not rub against the Master and Slave connectors.
