Default 600 nitro flybarless

i have a trex 600 nitro old school flybar heli,,when flybarless was just starting out, there was a way to convert the 600 to flybarless using the 700 flybarless head parts right?? i have the 700 head, grips, links, but im using the original swashplate i also change the servo wheels to the round ones! but i could never get the geometry correct so i gave up on it,,now im gonna try i again..my question is can i really use the 700 parts if so what are the exact parts?

The 700 head parts are very different than the 600 ones. The heads are not compatible with one another.

You will have to purchase the specific 600N FBL parts to convert it over.

The geometry on the 600N is not the best for FBL, but it will still work. You will want to move the balls in quite a bit on all 3 cyclic servos. I use the 6 armed Futaba horn, and use the second hole out.

This is what you need to convert the 600n. It was the factory 3g head. It came with the black servo wheels and the 3gx fbl if you want. My heli came converted with a spare one of these heads and we used it convert my buddy's 600 pro.

you will also want the new style elevator lever, this has an inner hole that lets you take out some of the mechanical gain, with the stock elevator lever, it had too much gain.

I do not believe Align ever released an A-Arm or corresponding levers for the aileron/pitch servos for the 600 unfortunately.

It would certainly improve the geometry, but to the best of my knowledge does not exist yet.

Correct, that was my experience also. It is close enough and flew fine for me.

Yep when I had my old 600 nitro I never found an elevator a-arm that was specifically meant for FBL. I had no issues flying beast x, Vbar or 3GX on mine.
