When doing the set-up, if you have a wizard available, it's usually better to go up a size (classic 450 w/325 blades) rather than down.
The last model yes use the 450 size. Should only need to tune tail and maybe tweak the head to liking.

In the new #2 , I'm hearing people have good luck picking the 300 size preset.
In #2. for a Cube, use the 3 head and 300 size.

The mini icon is going to require adapters or soldering for the servo leads. IMO, the Ikon is the value leader but I do love how vbar/kbars fly.

Default x2 vs oxy3

so I've had around 20 trouble free flights with the oxy 3 my pre flight expectations about the heli being too heavy are completely unfounded , so heres the main difference between the oxy and the gaui x2 , the x2 is a miniaturized heli , very well made but really small components and held together with x head screws , very light with quite good flight characteristics , I did find the tail to be a little weak and the owb failed fairly regularly , if the heli is pushed the owb would last me about 10 flights before it started slipping, maintenance was essential to keep the heli flying well, it is an excellent orientation practice machine but suffers in the wind
the oxy 3 by comparison isn't a miniature heli but a very well thought out , rugged design, I haven't had to work on it yet but because of the 1.5mm allen head bolts I don't think it will be so much of a problem . the drive train feels bullet proof and so far it does everything that I can do with ease , even screwing up piro flips doesn't phase it . the biggest thing for me is in the afternoon's in florida it gets a little breezy , too much for the x2 but the extra weight of the oxy really helps to smooth things out and I have total confidence in its predictability .
overall the gaui x2 being one of the first truly miniature heli's is an outstanding feat of engineering but doesn't really hold up to today's flying , the oxy 3 is a purpose built machine that has exceeded my expectations and will be in my fleet for a long time to come . I might even buy another one (thinking about the cube)

45 flights and now my first crash , my own fault low inverted forward and backward flight and just got a bit disorientated and in she went, so now I can comment on the fixability(?) of the heli, I did quite a lot of damage but it was really easy to work on and I had it nearly ready in about an hour, once its completely finished (still waiting on a main gear) I will see if its as smooth as it was and hopefully back to practicing soon
anyway , I really like everything about this heli, with the exception of some of the parts pricing , but a very robust easy to work on heli
