Default Scale Mi-24 based on Pantera P6E

Hi folks;

For those of you that are interested, I've started a thread over in the Scale section of the forum (and also over on ScaleRCHelis) about my next scale build - a 600 class Mil Mi-24 Hind using our beloved Pantera mechanics.

cheers,
ed

Ask, and ye shall receive. Just put some up. BTW, here's a pic of Auddy (my Pantera - yes, they all have names) sporting the original head - an OF 5 blade head with 620 mm asymetric blades.

Sadly, she never flew with it on. Had to sell it, as it was going to be waaaaay too big for the fuselage.

But, since John already makes a 4 blade head... What's one more?

Or one less?

Come on John... you know you want to!

Wow... Talk about resurrecting a dead thread... 4 years old. Yikes.

The Mi-24 is done, have a look in the Scale threads (link above) on the build.

He may not look like it, but underneath that skin beats the heart of a Pantera! (And at 16lbs +, its a big heart!)

Just goes to show how adaptable John's design is!

cheers,

That look and sounds beautiful! The angled tail drive looks like it would have been quite the challenge!

With Johnís help (longer tail belt), and the help of my 3D printer, it actually wasnít. Best of allÖ He still flies like a Pantera - rock solid.
