Yes but don't worry. Parts will be around for a long time. Blade/HH discontinues stuff all the time. I saw that sale. It was a good deal. I just bought a 360CFX and it's been discontinued and replaced with the Trio 3 blade version of it.

You'll love it. Even though its discontinued, it does have good parts support. Even years after a product is EOL'd the parts are still around for at least 3 with HH products it seems.

Side note: Blade/HH is ALSO discontinuing the successor as well, the Chroma as well on clearance sale for ~$314 which has only been out for a year.

SO Chroma is going out to?

They are going to make only now FPV crazyness?

Or is going to come a new QX350?

I like the idea of having a quad to flight with my eyes with relaxed scale flights....Qx350 is the answer...and if i want i can stick a action cam in there...If i want... mostly won't! Just relaxed flights with a quad!

The 350 QX was discontinued 9/29/2015. The Chroma is also out of production now. Grab one of the last ones HH Black Friday http://www.horizonhobby.com/storefro...drone-specials

Not is, has. Chroma has been discontinued since middle of the summer, they've just been selling off the remaining units they can. The least popular DX4 + Chroma BNF combo / one with gimbal are all that's left. It's dead.

There will be no more Horizon AP quads like 350qx3 or Chroma.

Your replacement... is the Yuneec Breeze.

http://www.horizonhobby.com/breeze-4...drone-yunfcaus

That's it folks. Horizon has left the building on this market pretty much, leaving it to DJI and Yuneec, and is more focused on FPV now.

I just want to find a qx350 to be able to fly it. Just don't care for gps and all those lalaland's that came of to RC.

Will i better find a qx, qx2 or qx3 for that matter?

I just want scale relaxed flight's with it...and flying with my eyes.
Don't care for droping a action cam in there, maybe one time but that's it.

And i do not want an FPV quad. It's like the crazy 3D from tv's a few years back that even today for what i know, nobody cares for it but brands are still selling the 3D thing! lol

FPV is not for me...to much gear and google makes me feel a retarded...but that's me. Nothing agaisn't...i could even like it if experience...but i just want to fly with my eyes and relaxed flights...not 3D stunts!

Is it a valid choice to buy a qx350 for that?

I understand they are not made anyomore...but i can and know still find new ones on shops...
Don't care if it's old tech... 2014? lol. If it fly's well that's what i want!

If you just want to fly for sport and can get it for the right price, I guess you can. Is it the best choice? In my opinion, absolutely not. The important thing to consider when buying *any* drone or rc product is not just what you paid for it, but also the cost for maintenance and parts availability.

What can you buy a 350QX3 for in your country for right now brand new? If it's any more than $200USD for a bind-and-fly version then I would tell you not to bother. For $200USD or less you can pick up some cheap FPV race/sport quads, with strong frames and better build quality. Standardized parts that will be cheaper and easier to get.

Just think about it -- even if a quad comes with FPV it doesn't mean you have to use it at all. I regularly fly my Vortex 250 Pro line-of-sight for fun, just like I did my QX.

Hi - I have a used 350qx3 and I would like to know how to tell what firmware version I have. Also do I have to do the switch flip 4 times to get stability and agility modes. Any help is appreciated.

Yes, if you have a QX3 then you are on V3 of the FW. Depending on which radio you have you may have to do the odd switch flipping for flight modes.
