Phantom Price Drop

Would someone please tell me why the price of Phantom 2 Vision+ has dropped so much. I am lucky enough to own a P2 &P3. The P3 price is just pretty much staying the same. Of course the P3 is nicer but I'm not understanding P2 price drop.

perhaps its obsolete, they did the same thing with P1 once the P2's were available.

I am pissed my PV2+ with no camera with a popped ESC for $500. Slightly depressing, admitility it was pre Phantom 3 technology.

What is the worth now in a repaired condition 300$ at the most.

Yeah, I've not seen anything like these recent price drops whether its DJI Phantom or Chromas or Yuneecs.

I'm in the market to buy one of the above and checking the Craigslist ads, people are asking way more than what new ones are going for. I know they paid a bunch.

It looks like the phantom 3 professional price did not drop? The advance version seems like a better deal right now. I was thinking I'd like to get 4K camera but for the money I don't think it's worth it. I don't have a 4K tv yet and my computer most likely can't handle 4K. Are the still photos just as good on the advance version camera? I think both are 12 mp.

Right now the 4K and advanced are same price, both $799 which pisses me off because I paid $999 for my advanced less than 2 months ago

Well folks this is common practice. Out with the old and in with the new. I learned long ago to stop buying when things first come out and now I wait for the inevitable price drop.

You do realize this was V.3 of the product, right, and that it's not been out that long?

DJI is celebrating their 10th anniversary. They are dropping prices on the major model line. I suspect the prices on other models in their product line will drop as well.
