Okay, mine is

trex 250 se
hs-65mg cyclic
jr 290g tail
castle phoenix 25
scorpion 2206-3900 15t
gy 401 with long wires (28 grams)
hyperion cx 3s 850 (70 grams with micro-deans)

Started at 348g including battery, 278 excluding battery.
Trimmed the motor/esc wires and eliminated bullets and used a micro-deans style 3 pin connector - 9.9 (lets call it 10) gram savings

so now i'm down to 338g w/lipo, 268g without.
I'm going to switch to either a spartan quark, 520 or jr g270 3d, all of which are roughly 10 grams with short wires, so i'll lose another 18 grams, so after my gyro switch i should be

320 grams w/lipo, 250g without lipo, overall my calcs say start to finish this should be a 8% savings overall. Anyone else lose this much weight? any different feel in the air? flight times improve?

I just finished the build and maidened my 250 SE and it's coming in at 337 grams with all the stuff listed in my signature. Judging by the poll, it seems that puts me in the most common weight range of 320 - 340 grams.

Mine is 485 grams (yes correct 485g) with batery and a 500E Align scale body and all the metal hop-up parts you can thing of internaly. Its not a bird i enjoy flying as i live at 5000 ft above sea level and the thin air just makes it sink like a brick in teh air even at 4600rpm, but it looks good in the air.

Wish i had the sea level presures as i did in Dubail......man there it went like a beast in a pod and boom state. And id rather repair the 250SE than the larger birds.

I've heard of people using the 1000mah but I find the 900's to be a nice fit.

I dont think so. I know most people try running 20-25C but 15C is just find. If you just sport flying and hovering then dont worry about it. Having 25C is good when you doing 3D.
