I don't see the point in adding the extra weight of a boom cover to a light heli.

Probably a number of reasons. F3C as stated above. Market share. Visibility. As long as there is the option to run it without the boom cover it shouldn't be a problem.

Looks interesting but I like the Steady 700 fuselage better. The V3 fuselage does look very similar to the Steady and it comes with the kit not a separate and very expensive F3C fuselage purchase. That said I don't like how the swash sticks WAY out of the fuselage. That ruins the whole package IMHO.
