I am sure that will work well for your needs, IF all you want is to charge 3s 2200 packs. But if you have any other wants or needs then you should look at something a little bigger. This includes charging more than one pack at a time or want to charge bigger packs.

Should be OK and the integrated AC supply is very convenient. Some have found the AC supply fails fairly quickly. The Bantam BC6 is the original integrated AC/DC balance charger in this class and is top quality. Mine has been in use regularly for 2 years and is still going strong.

These are only 50W/5A output class chargers. They will happily charge a 3S 2200 at up to 2C (or two in series at 1C or two in parallel at 1C) but you won't be able to take advantage of the fast charge (up to 5C) capability of the new generation LiPos or of A123 packs.

If you can afford it, getting more charger than you think you need pays off, just like getting more Tx than you think you need can end up saving you money overall.

Take a look at the iCharger 106B+ (6S, 300W/10A) and a power-supply from www.progressiverc.com . These are the best bang-for-buck around at the moment. Great features, easy to use, very powerful, very flexible, amazingly compact and they work well.
