Default Jeti / axon

Hi
I am about to pull the trigger on a ds-16. It will be working with an axon and I have a few questions.

So the jeti receiver to axon will be connected with a single wire, and set to ex bus.

Looking at a YouTube video, I take it when I create a new model for this, I need to allow two gyro channels. One for head and one for tail. And these can be adjusted from two switches so I can get them tuned.

I think the idea is to set up things normally, and consider the integration as an add on? Is that right?

If, for example, I want the head and tail gain values to change with the bank switch, I simply in the TX set the head, tail and bank channels to activate off the same switch?

Hi Craig,

Exactly: you simply define channels for head and tail gain, and another one for horizon/rescue (separated with the AXON, other than with the 3SX before).
The head gain channel controls the bank selection, and at the same time, for bank blue and yellow, the head gain (red needs to be defined in the software/Jeti radio). There is no gain setting in the software any more, as it was with the old systems, as there is no need to set anything in the software, cause horizon is separated.
If you want all this to be changed at the flick of one switch, this would most likely be the flight mode switch, controlling all the channels via the gyro menu(s).

Setup is done in the software (easiest), as you will have to hook the unit up at least once to define the input type (EXbus) and do the Tx and servo setup in the Diagnose/Trim page. After that, you could basically do all the rest via the radio.
