Default links too short?

Anyone have any trouble with the links being too short to keep the swash from hitting the shaft collar at full neg and full back and side stick?

I have an HK450, and was flying it without a lot of negative because I couldn't get the swash high enough without worrying about only having a few threads of the pushrod into the link. I am now going through it to set it up for more aerobatics, and would like to do it properly but is it even possible?

How many threads in the link are required for safety?

Take a look at the SE V2 manual and compare.
On my CopterC it was uncomfortable litle threads left inside the links when the swash was high enough but it did flye like that fore a year before changing to Pro swash wich made the geometry of the links a litle different.

Well, found out last night with the links provided it is impossible to set up the HK 450 as recommended by Finless... the arms that link the swash to the pitch levers are too long so once you get the the swash up high enough to stop hitting the collar, and level the washaout base parts, then you cannot shorten those pitch arms enough to level the pitch levers.

Luckily I've bought ebay repair parts (full head), and the arms that came with that head see to be abe to be shorted enough to work....
