Question Few questions about VBar

1. Is the Gaui VBar the same as Mikado VBar?
2. Does the Mini VBar work with Spektrum DSM2 Satellite receivers?
3. Can you use a 6 channel radio with the Mini VBar and Satellite receivers?

1. Yes - Cost more to upgrade to Pro though
2. Yes
3. Yes - They actually have the DX6i settings on their webpage so I assume 6ch will work.

That's good, because all I have is a Dx6i, and I can't afford a Dx8.

Anyway, what do you mean 'pro'? Like, more features? More flexibility?

Reason I ask is that I want a Gaui X5 eventually and it comes with Gaui Mini VBar

The Vbar firmware comes in two versions. Express version is on every new one you buy. Then you have the option to upgrade to the Pro version of firmware which gives you access to more adjustable parameters. For a list of the differences you can check here http://www.vstabi.info/en/featurematrix

I've never owned the Gaui Vbar so I can only assume the Express version is similar to the Express version on any other Vbar. I do know I've seen on here that to upgrade it to Pro it's more expensive than the $45.00 it normally costs for a regular branded Vbar.
If you do an advanced search here for "Gaui" in Titles Only you will find more info on it.

Default Few questions about VBar

I have the Gaui vbar. It cost me $89 to upgrade to pro. The website only does euros so it converts it. It says it's gonna charge you 79 euros, but in the end it's only 63 euros it charges. Worked out to $89.
