When converting the 700 to an 800, do you need to change the boom mount and tail torque tube unit to accommodate the wider 800 boom?
I used the align stretch kit, so the boom Are the Same width as the 700boom

Cool. Do you notice any real difference when it is in the air?

I have two 700L tops so I could convert one but just wondering if I should.

Havent tried it much, but feels much floatier then the 700, Also you can autorotate forever but if you Are a hardcore 3D pilot, i Would not recomend a 800 conversion.

I also stretched a Trex700 (V2) to the 800 size. Best move ever....
Flies like a dream with almost no need for adjustments...

Nice,

I'm currently setting up an 800 Trekker for a friend at the moment and the parts to extend mine came today so hopefully I'll be flying both on saturday.

I extended the 700l and it flies so nice.

Its my only vbarred heli and tbh I didnt like the feel when it was a 700, could have been some of my settings but now its and 800 it flies very nicely indeed.

The head speed is 1620 and is really nice for sport flying and now im getting 5:30 instead of 4 mins from each pack. I may increase the HS slightly.
