Default 2xMCPX batteries = 1 130X battery?

http://www.horizonhobby.com/products...gsReviews=true

So can I use this harness for my 130x using 2 of my MCPX batteries?

I know it's not the best solution but hell it will keep me flying until I can get my hands on some other good batteries.

I am making a y harness to use my hyp 550's in my 130x until my new packs show up. Stock mcp cells? eh i don't know that I would risk it. blades c ratings have always been a bit optimistic.

your mcpx batts wont plug into that, the ones from a msr will, its a smaller connector...

They aren't stock, they are the hyperion version of the stockers. So it sounds like this is a series harness which is what I will need?

edit: meat got another post in before I finished thanks for the info

edit #2 I've got some of the stock MCPX adapters, looks like I could just replace, Hmmmm I will see if it's worth it.

Something's wrong here. The 130x battery is much bigger than two mcpx batteries. I'm not sure I understand why the mAh ratings make them seem equal, but I'm pretty sure they would not be.

I just got a set of these in the mail today too. They look very well made and should work a treat. Now if I only had a 130x heli to try them out on, lol! Looks like another 1-2 weeks before the slow boat from China gets to Australia.

I've got a number of Mcpx Hyperion 250's and Nanotec 300's. I'm not expecting a lot with these packs in series. Probably just some light sport flying while the main pack is on charge.

Cheers,
TomC

yeah idk, the nanotech 300mah i got are 2 mcpx 300mah nanotechs stacked on top of each other made into a 2 cell... Whats crazy is they work! Im thinking of trying and putting 2 in parrallel so i have a 2 cell 600mah battery. It would then be the same size as a stock battery. Ive run both the nanotech and the eflight to the LVC and they took almost the exact same time to get there...

+1 I normally run Hyp 550's, but I also have a pair of Nano 300's and get about 4 min.

I hope this works. I have 14 mCPX batteries and that should get me going until more options come available with the stock connector installed.

I am using 2 1s Hyperion 250mah batteries after 3min of sport flying I am left with about 20% charge on them according to the PL8. Needless to say, I ordered some 2s 450mah Gens Ace batteries to get some longer flight times.

Here's mine. Used the shelf non slippery stuff to hold in place. works great.

It also allows me to still use the batteries in my mcpx

I left original connector in place but I will probably remove it and just use these nanos.

So far 6 flights with 2 300 nanotechs 3:30 minutes. Seems to fly fine. Only doing sport flying. They do come our WAY hotter then out of the mCPX.

Probably because your REALLY pushing the discharge rate of those batteries in the 130X. WHat are they rated at? Are they the "35-70C" ones?
