Question Aluminum Carrying Case For ESky HB V2 Heli

I am going to get the ESky Honey Bee FP V2 and I was looking for an aluminum carrying case. I know that the box it comes in is like a carrying case but if you know me, I would like some thing much better. I saw one on Xheli but it says it's for a 250 Size heli and Honey Bee is a 300 Size. Is there a big difference? Do you think it will work? Thank - Joe

● Holds any 250 Size Helicopter, Tools, Remote Transmitter, Batteries, and chargers on the go.
● Diameter: 488x228x241mm

Looking at the pic, I'd say your main problem will be the height of the heli. I would definately get a HB case personally.

This is the one I have for my V1 HBFP. Should be fine though for the V2. I thought the CP was bigger than the HBFP? Anyway, when I ordered mine from there it fits my HBFP perfectly.

No, the Trex 250 is smaller in every dimension. It's a real baby but flys so well.
If you look at the start of this video you'll see the comparison. Actually, there's not much in it now I look again but it is smaller than a Bee.

I personally just don't like the idea of folding the blades on an FP to get it into a case. When you fold them, you end up with one blade being forced higher / lower than the other and the FP head does not allow blade movement like a CP head. As a consequence, it is the blades that twist (or the head parts at the root of the blade) and this can give you tracking / pitch problems then....

+1
one blade does have to be forced over the flybar and paddle. I leave mine extended now and I don't have to keep playing with my tracking.

The case I linked to doesn't put any stress on the blades or head. Used it a lot and never had any problems. It's the official Esky one.

I do like the idea of the heli standing up compared to laying on its side. Hey 944own, do you happen to have a pix of the Hony Bee FP V2 in the 450size aluminum case. Thanks - Joe

Sorry, my mistake then....but from the picture it looks like it does. How does the "front" blade fitted in, if it isn't folded back?

I guess that depends on how you put the case down....on its bottom or on its side...

good choice i would rather have a case that is a little big than a little small just because it gives you soo much more room to put other stuff in it you will be happy with it for the 10 bucks extra or whatever it is well worth it.
