That is why your mod is superior to mine. You put a lot more thoughts into it. I will do it asap.

Found this in Hobby King US West Warehouse:
http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...arehouse_.html

16mm OD x 14mm ID x 330mm -- $3.39

Before you order, though... I'm at work so not sure that 330mm (~13") is long enough.

You got the wrong spec. the correct tube should be 14mm OD x 12mm ID. I fear 330mm wouldn't be long enough. I suggest at least 500mm just in case. You might need to practice how to cut carbon fiber first.

Good luck

Guys - is it possible to use stretch with 3S Scorpion 2221?
I have it and rewound with thick wire for 3000kv.
I'm not hardcore 3d pilot, just some big air and want more stability from my bird

Does the Trex500 belt fits directly without any mods on the width of the belt?
Mine fits very tight on tail output shaft.

I feel it fits decently tight on my tail... worst thing comes, you can run a sharp knife blade onto the belt as the heli motor turns (remove blades before this procedure)... you can cut 0.1-0.2mm off from the belt.

Default Boom mounted tail

Is there any particular reason why you guys are using the Lynx boom mounted servo brackets and, not just leaving the rudder servo where it is?

I can't think of any real reason and prefer to keep the rudder servo in-frame where its more protected.

My Forza 450 is now stretched. I ordered the parts a long time ago. I did the trail fit today. I just need to make up the tail pushrod. I will be trying my Halo 385mm blades and 62mm tail blades.

It is going to be a light sucker. I weighed it without the tail pushrod and no battery. It was under 780 grams.

Hello guys,

What belt did use for the stretch mode ? I tried the Align Trex 500 (H50045T) and found it really tight fit on the front and rear pulleys. I don't know of a way to cut or shave the belt to make it fit better. Thanks for your reply
