Dont bother , you wont get it staight enough. unless you can git it within less than .0005". Thats half of one thousanth of a inch. You might get it close but good chance you cuasecmore damage running a bent feather shaft. Shakes and takes out bearings. order 2. so you have a spare.

I have to agree...on the smaller heli's yes you can get close and it will fly nicely...but the 130X has enough vibration problems already, so no sense making them worse and taking out something that will do more damage

you do know that the actual diameter of that shaft varies more than .0005"?

so if one were going to straighten the shaft i think its possible with the right tools

then i would check the shaft using total runout, not straightness to .001"
its not spinning at all, only spinning parts require higher tolerance definition

but for the average guy fixing a bent shaft is point less.

I don't even remember how many crashes that I had on my 130x, but I've yet replaced mine. Straight it up and try to roll it on a smooth surface (I used a mirror). If it can roll, it can fly. 130x is .

Not the case with big birds. But if you can do it and the tracking looks good .heck give it a try. I know I sure would do a tail shaft . This micro has enough problems with tail issues.

for sure I could hardly see any bend in my 300x's feathering shaft when I rolled it. I was not even sure there was a bend. but it sure made a difference on betting rid of the bad vibes.
