Thanks, Don

oh not sure there Don, but I know for a fact that the DFC head can work with the 250SE swashplate. Some of the guys here have that setup

The only reason I bought it is because it looks like the DFC head fits in better with this swashplate. plus it seems to do a good job from seeing from other peoples flight videos

Are the balls on the dfc swash closer in? Would help with head geometry and resolution for the beastx

theyve been out for a while now, they were just listed under the 3gx flybarless section of the align store and not the t250 pro section.

Here is the side by side pictures:

Hope this help. Inner swash balls (2 of them) are definitely much shorter. Outer swash balls (4 of them) are similar in length to the regular swashplate. It was hard to tell by looking at it. Need to measure the length carefully to find out.

Thanks for posting. It looks like they just moved the inner balls way inside to give more resolution. It also looks like the outer swash arms and balls are very close to the same distance on both.

That DFC swash looks like the balls for the outer arms aren't fully screwed in. Make sure you seat the balls and locktite them before installing and flying. Unless looks are deceiving.

Don,

You are correct. I just received the swashplate today from Aligntrexstore.com. I have not fixed the screws yet. I also ordered another one from ebay.com which was about 1/3 cheaper than Aligntrexstore.com, for less than $20 including shipping.

I am pretty excited to get mine in and installed. It should arrive today or tomorrow. This should really help improve resolution. When I went to the DFC head from the Tarot FBL head, I had to turn my cyclic and collective down quite a bit and in the end still needed to move the balls in on the servo arms another step. I wonder if I'll end up moving them back out once I have this swash installed.

I have just spent the afternoon trying to get the blue light on my 250 with the dfc head, I cant see any way to get it using the align servos with the se swash, this new swash could make all the difference.

By using the 2nd outer hole in on the servos, and the inner swash balls without the spacers, you can get red at 6 degrees, with blue at about 6.5.

I managed to get blue by going to the 3rd servo hole but the links made such an angle to the swash it screwed up the geometry and made it fly strangely.

Over on the beastx forums though most people say that there is no difference blue and red, or even purple, on something as small as the 250. On bigger helis it makes a difference though.

Yep thats how I have it now, with the same results, this is my first time setting up beastx as I have always been a vbar user. First hover and it got cyclic wobbles so I have turned the gain down, now just to wait till tomorrow for a proper test flight, I am holding high hopes for this little beast, I just ordered a dfc swash also as I want it to fly as good as possible.

Is it like a slow circular wobble? Cause I get them too if I drop below 80% headspeed.

16t + 100% flat throttle curve and it's perfect.
