She is all done.Did a quick test flight in my room and so far it is flying nice..Very smooth..I hope to get more flights in tomorrow..Here is my setup

Futaba S9257 Tail servo
CY Mini-G gyro
Outrage 25C 860mah batteries
AR6100e RX

Will do..The Mini-G size is perfect for this heli, plus the shorter wires make wiring much easier..The little time I already have on it, it seems rock solid..If it is anything like the Solid-G which I am sure it is, the Mini-G is a spartan killer...

Justin,
Looks good,Ive cut my tail blades down to 30 mm,center of bolt hole to edge, still plenty of authority. Are you using a 16 tooth pinion? Also, the align batteries seem to be equal to the outrage 860,s.When you get it outside, and start whipping it around, keep an eye on your belt tension, and look for fraying.Im on my third belt. Also the metal pulleys, both front and rear are a good upgrade.Ive spun the plastic tail pulley on its shaft .Jeff

There is nothing out there that is going to be a Spartan Killer.....I have several Solid G's and Spartans....and I think they both perform VERY well.....if the Mini G performs as well as the spartan that will be good enough....

The Spartan/solid g's are by far the MOST consistent piro move gyros out there...

BTW...16T is almost a MANDATORY upgrade...definitely worth doing it...smooths the machine out quite abit and will bog a LOT less....

I am only joking when I say Spartan killer..I also fly Spartan Gyros as well..Both Great gyro's..I cant wait to try the new futaba 520 out as well..

I may try a 16T down the road but so far the 15t feels fine..I know a few others that are liking the 15T as well..

Did you buy those frames after you bought the kit? Those are FG, right? You can't get the CF frames in silver as a kit, can you?

Hey DVS what skids are you using? They look much better than the stock ones.
