OMG!
Stunning flying. I feel acutely embarrassed!
Still I'm sure I saw the tail wagging at 1:07 and I'd go up 0.002% on the gain.

Another video I found on the net. I just want to share. It looks like Alan Szabo Jr. flying someone's 250, with 205d and canomod canopy. It looks a little bit underpowered and a bit heavy setup, HS:3800-3900 gov mode???

Great flight, but not sure he is using Vbar as you can see the flybar when he “lands” (around 3:59). But still a very impressive flight

Very nice pictures. Not often you see a F3C fuselage on the 250

Thanx

Not to mention this one has been customised with LEDs :-)

Not that many people use the F3C fuselage out there, mostly because there are lots of heat problem coming with it :/
With the scarce place and no air flow inside the fuselage, the ESC tends to become hot after a few minutes of flight, not really a good thing...

Hey guys.
I have a sclae fuse for my 250 but I am missing the tail stabilizers,
Does anyone have any that they would be willing to sell me?
I just need the stabilizer assembly from the picture.
Thanks.

I picked up a new Canomod canopy and a new gyro, so I decided to rewire my 250.

I rewiring mine with braided wire sleeves. I'm also using numbered shrink tubing on the ends of each wire. This helps identifying the source of the wire when plugging into the receiver. On the Spektrum AR6100, the pins are BATT, THR, AILE, ELEV, RUDD, GEAR, AUX. So, my wires are labeled from left to right 1-6.

Congratulations!! Really beautiful build!! My only suggestion would be to round off the servo arms instead of just cutting them. It is not so hard to do and you have already put a lot of time on this heli so it seems well worth the extra time. It would really make it stand out even more. I love the new canopy.

Hey thanks for the compliment. I do plan on rounding them off. I recently got a Dremel that I need to put to good use.

I prefer to do it manually because these things are quite small and it is easy to make a mistake with a powertool. I am also finishing a Trex 250SE. Will post pictures soon.

Doesn't that black stuff add a ton of extra weight? The exposed wires don't look bad enough for me to weigh down the little thing that much...

Yes, it does I am afraid. When I was building mine, i was toying with the idea, because it looked nice, then I weighted it and removed.
Looks good on pics tho, but ou can't see it when you fly

All my "black stuff" only weigh about 1,5-2grams (approx 20cm)

With the battery, mine weighs in at only 342 grams with the additional mesh sleeves.

That gives us a way to estimate the effect - it's about a gram per 10cm section...
