Here's the CF boom from a honey bee K2 (Esky part EK1-0563A). It's slightly smaller diameter. I made collars out of pieces of the factory boom. Every fitting is much more solid (servo mount, stab support, boom block and tail collar). Had to use a mondo zip tie to hold the control rod guide.

Drooling over those CF blades. Have you flown the Gaui FRP's and would you say they're comparable? I think they make the cyclic a little more peppy, but they are a little shorter than the 200/205 plastic blades currently available from Align. I haven't measured them, but I'd say they're like 190's.

I've got some Lightning Yellow canopies coming from Infinity. Those should be available in the States real soon. Domestic vendors seem to be about a week behind Infinity.

I would love for someone to make a matched custom canopy set for the T-Rex family. I'd buy a 700 just to have something to put the canopy on.

Default Here is my 250 with Align 205 Carbon Blades (14 grams)

It's the Super Combo with newer and bigger Lightening Yellow canopy and 205 carbon fiber blades. The tail hub upgrade [or should I say recall part(s)] has been installed with the new bearings. She flies wonderful now.

Also here is a pic of my entire fleet in part of our three car garage. Look how tiny she is next to the bunch !!!

Moviebizman fleet: 700N, 600N, 500, 450SEV2, 450SEV2, 250, Raptor Titan 50(scale), Raptor 90SE(scale).
