lol how much is that gyro? if any thing i want the gaui to be with a flybar but it would be cool if I can make the t-rex 450 flybarless instead.. how good does the flybarless t-rex 450 work with the gaui system? because i love to do hard3d!!

I've watched this post on both forums, sort of a landmark event, in MHO...

Regardless, EXCELLENT!

J-Heli does great work.

Most of yall have prob seen this, but on the trex250 forum a guy reported to have crashed it, here is what he wrote for parts. looks like the main shaft and feathering shaft won't be like gaui's and hold up for many many crashes

the 250 ate dirt this morning :/ doh

parts list isn't to bad :
main shaft
fethering spindle
canopy "still usable"
dampers "got ejected" :d
couple of shims

I think a lot of that depends on what kind of surface you land "crash" on ;p. I've busted all that stuff whenever I crash on a road, gravel or any hard packed dirt, but in grass I tend to not have to replace much. ... What I'm wondering about is how did the dampers get ejected without the blade grips coming out ?

Bert is a great pilot and champion of heli lovers everywhere but, he is an Align sponsored pilot so keep that in mind. Maybe it does track better and is slightly more stable than a V1 Gaui 200 but, what he didn't say speaks louder than what he did. He didn't say it was better than the Gaui. He didn't say it out performs the Gaui and he certainly didn't say the 250 is better. Food for thought.

Well a stock Gaui runs on a 2S. A stock 250 runs on a 3S. IF it didn't have more power something would be wrong. All I'm trying to say is that if you look close, it would seem to me that the Align sponsered guy is trying hard to not play favorites which I respect but, at the same time no one is comparing the V2 to the 250 and no one can say the 250 is better. Let's wait to hear from the Gaui sponsored pilots before we jump on the Align bandwagon. Slap a 3S in a stock Gaui 200 and the power will surpass the stock 250. More importantly, does the 250 perform better than the Gaui V2? I'm guessing if Bert felt it did then we would all be hearing about it.

If you would, hold your results until you get a V2. While I fully believe the Gaui 200 V1 is close if not as good or better than the 250, I personaly feel if there's going to be a face-off it should be between the Gaui 200 V2 SE and the Align 250 not the Gaui 200 V1.
