Are you referring to tail hold? You can fix that by altering the tail power of the model under the fine tuning menu.

Doesn't work.

Tail kicks happen with all of the fbl models, but are worse on the 550.
Several have been over this subject in the Phoenix forum in the recent months, but no fixes.
I and a few others have emailed Phoenix about it, nothing still. Told them to put any of the fbl models (550) specifically into any kind of high speed funnel and see for yourself.
Still waiting. You just have to be kind with the collective - speed of the maneuvers.

Yes, I have seen this before when doing high speed funnels. I remember specifically with the 550. I increased the tail power until it was gone. I did this with another model as well, but I forget which one. I haven't flown the 550 in a long time, but I will try it again tonight just to see.

Yeah, I hear ya. It doesn't really bother me anymore. I usually just fly the 700E and Logos. It's just the poor newbies that come in, and can't figure out why, or how to fix it. (make it a little better).
The way I see it, Phoenix should just send a patch with the adjustments. This way the newbs. don't have to keep beating their heads against the wall. LOL
