I can't buy a new frame until mid to late August, but how much are the motor mounts gonna be Ben?

Hi Guys

How ya doing?

I hope to get the prices for the Easy Mesh Motor mount system and the Big Balls Bearing Blocks (how do you like the new name?) finalised tomorrow.

On the production front I have Good news and Bad news

Here are the pics of the very fist set of carbon frame sides fresh of the milling machine.

: clappp
I cant tell you how excited i was to see them come off the machine!
The sheets are 500x500mm square and i can get 3 pairs of side frames, I have to have a full sheet just to get the battery mount and ESC plates as there was no room for them.

The Bad news is there are some mistakes:thumbdow n:

I cant tell you how gutted i was when i spotted it Nothing too serious it can be sorted.
This means a bit of a delay getting all the parts finished on time whilst the Programmers find the problem and sort it out.
With such a tight schedule on the machines that has thrown us to the back of the que again!!

However i have convinced the guys to do a bit of overtime at the weekend and we should be back on track for shipping very early next week.
I also forgot to add some time in the schedule for test assembly of the final production units just in case!!

Anyway
I hope to have some shipping quotations for you all as soon as the wife pulls her finger out!!

Sorry for the additional delay guys

Ben

kidding Ben.. I know you're working very hard on this. as far as the minor set backs goes... it happens.. but once it's sorted you'll be back in track.

Does no one care about me???
I have been stuck in the 'rsole of the planet' for nearly 4 weeks now!! Even Sri Lanka was better than here. The passport office lost my passport when I sent it off to be renewed, I paid for the 'quick' ten day service and, as usual, there is small print that says they will do it in ten days unless "they are busy!!!!!" WTF.

Long and short, passport came today, after I tracked down the delivery guy myself!! And I just had to buy a new airline ticket (overstayed my last ticket return and, as usual, cannot transfer it!!!!) 600 quid later, I am on my way home at midday tomorrow, can't wait to get the Hurri up and, hopefully, fly one of Ben's Headhunter frames!

THANK THE LORD.....SABAH HERE I COME......GONNA SEND THE WIFE ON HER OWN NEXT YEAR!!!
