well heathrow is pretty crazy... they have one of the coolest new departure lounges i've ever seen. i heard somewhere that it's one of the largest free-standing roof buildings in the world. my dad used to manage the luton airport and still does some work out of there. they even have a reality show over there about that airport... it's wierd watching it cause i know a lot of the people one it
mike- have you ever heard of a "celeb" named jonny appleseed?

wow budapest... i've always wanted to go there. glad you're home safe. i know those long flights can be hard on the elderly lol

case in point:
last time i flew with my grandma her doctor gaver her some valium... lets just say halfway through the heathrow-seattle flight she came out of the bathroom with her dress around her ankles and sat on some poor guy who was trying to get some sleep. needless to say... no more valium for granny!!!

Bobby, we don't let bloody foreigners like MJDee use the good bits of Heathrow - we keep them in the old sheds.

I'm not really into the "celebrity" thing I'm afraid (they are usually just self-obsessed narcissists IMHO and certainly don't deserve to be celebrated)

Heathrow or Thief-row as it is more commonly known due to the baggage thefts! Sucks, the worst airport in the western world IMHO!

Oh, by the way guys, hi! I have been away for a while in the 'tree', lots of leeches, stings bites etc etc

Celebraties....yeh, I share the same opinions on most of them but just had the pleasure of meeting Tony Blair (former UK pm for the uninitiated) and, to my suprise, bloody good bloke! He came to visit a project I am managing over here and gave us his support. Our project really needs some global awareness and so visits by people like him is always a plus. We are trying to save an animal which is on the verge of extinction....

i heard about one of those endangered species jb... in fact i just heard about this story from a friend of mine who is over there where you are trying to help out too:

the very rare sand-squirrel... it lives in the upper layer of beach sand. in fact, i a little bit ago one of the few remaining familes was slashed to death when an object collided through the thin upper crust of the beach and penetrated to her burrow, killing the mother and her 8 newborn cubs. it's a shame really... those cubs were supposed to represent the future of the sand-squirrel population. all the autopsy reports showed were little bits of carbon fiber embedded in the deep tissue. it's still a mystery...

mike- i say that because the bastard tried to take my girlfriend home with him (seriously!) he was at the airport- we were visiting my dad- and he introduces himself and asks her if she'd heard of him.. blahblah wanna come see my flat? blahblah. i was about to pop the guy

and I suppose you ruined it for her......!!

Other than heathrow.....you guys do have a lot of beautiful country over there....

I guess it's why the "brits" tryied to conquer the whole F**kin world !! But we kicked your A$$.....and look at us today!! Getting our a$$es kicked by our "Own" President !!

Bring back the "Queen"....

The animal is a Bornean Sun Bear, worlds smallest, least known and most endangered. Possibly the 'cutest!'.
We have 12 bears who have all been rescued and are trying to get them out of these cages and back into the forest. I project manage the volunteers who come to help us out. Money is tight but with volunteer work we are trying to build a new bear house and an enclosure so we can train them to be released back into the forest. Im giving it my full attention between 'jobs' and it is really rewarding work!

Wow, That is so Cool. I just showed this to my Better Half, and she said she had heard of this Bear's plight and they are very near there end. That is such great work, Thank You Bob, for your help in doing your small part in the rescue of these Bears.
