It's a Haas vertical machining center. Nice for these little parts.

Yes, 8mm main.
The grips are 10mm but I have made 12mm root grips for it as well, The hurry is 12mm yes? I don't remember.

The flybarless version at www.i2rc.com is $229. I haven't gone over the pricing for the flybarred one yet but obviously will be a bit more. To supply either with 12mm grips would be about the same...maybe a few dollars more.

just a thought...would altering the length of the balls on the cage sides offer a large degree of programability?(piss off firefox,its a word now even if i just made it up)

Yes indeed.
I also have alternate ball positions in the levers. To be honest though, I always feel only one of them is useful anyway...balls to the wall.

The threaded rod inbetween the grips and the washout. is that a turnbuckle style rod??
and if so do you still need to remove them from the balls to adjust them???
