I don't get the time to practice enough lately. But anyway, this is where I'm at. Been practicing a lot on backwards flight both upright and upside down. And flying in nose in without hitting myself.

how can I view the .pxr file extensions? Do I need the phoenix sim? I have a real flight sim but thinking of getting the phoenix since my main focus is heli's.

Why waste your money on another sim? Real flight is a very good sim. I have both and
i use real flight more. Use the money for something more usefull.

Here are two flights, orientation practice and a bit of goofing around. The "new recording" was done today, the other was done about a week ago. Tick-toc-ish stuff and some pirouette flight to try to keep up with orientation. A bit on the wobbly side but there's progress.

Thanks to Slyster for explaining that Windows came with WinZip !

Is the sound in Phoenix like what im hearing in the videos?...I know the sim is for training and sound isnt THAT important, but at least make the heli get quieter as it moves away from you.
Just ordered Phoenix yesterday.Been a RealFlight guy for the last 8 years or so.Wore out my controller that came with it and always wanted to try Phoenix,so I bit the bullet. Also, how is the online with Phoenix?

Here's a vid I made of a B-17 and F-16 taking off and landing on my new Aircraft Carrier flying site: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...&v=YkSpHLC-83I

It's available on my site at http://www.dccoding.com/ACX98.zip

You install it like any other user site, unzip and place the resulting "Aircraft Carrier X98" folder in My Documents\PhoenixRC\Flying sites

Hope you like it!

Great flying! How can you get your flips so static, no matter what I do on the sim, I always have to quite heavily correct mid flip, doesn't happen when I fly real heli (my sim is setup ok)

Hey thanks, I was the same for a long time actually. I'm using an old DX7 with the sim and it seems way too sensitive around center stick in relation to the way the model responds and its just been way too many hours on the sim that has got me used to it I guess?

For me I feel like I have more control of the real thing because it has real weight and responds in a more predictable way for any given collective input so I agree with you all the way that it's easier on the real thing to keep your flips more stationary and controlled.

Duane.
