Finally got to try out phoenix this week. I like it so far. Thought I would make a video to show how far I've come in 3 months of flying helis. A little sloppy, but I'm getting better.

Hi Guys - I think I have just discoverred Sim Fun. Too cool Sly. I spent the morning going through all the Phoenix recordings and they have just blown me away. Poetry in motion.
I should point out that I have just bought Phoenix and fired it up just the other day and cant wait to upload me nose in hovering - which is the best I can do at the moment.
The point is, this is a good thread with heaps of training potential even if only to inspire us poor NooBs into putting more time in on the Sim.
Cheers and Thanks

Are you sure you aren't jumping the gun alittle in trying to learn the piro flip too early ?

I'll give you some advice, take it or leave it. You simply arn't ready for piro flips, work on the basics first. If you keep at it eventually you will learn to piro flip but you will never learn to control them.

yeah maybe i was getting too exited. ok so i guess i need to start inverted flight. but its really hard. whats the best baby steps for inverted foward flight or whatever its called. i just cant seem to control the tail right or something. like i really like how the hurricans look, oh but wait i still havent really flown reverse flight either

Just start with inverted hovering and inverted fig8s. I always tell ppl to try and do what ever they are trying to learn as slow as possible, doing something slower requires alot more inputs and correction which forces you to learn quick.
