Default How do I install my old G110 on my cp+ ?

Sorry, but after 20 minutes I got tire of searching the threads as I know others have done this.
I want to take the old G110 from my B400 and put it in my cp. I have found a bunch on how to do it to a cp pro but not cp+. I think it is different...right?
Anyway, does anyone have a detailed description or a good site where I can get this. I am SO SO SO frustrated with having to always chase the tail. It takes all the fun out of flying. OR maybe I am just spoiled with my B400/G401 ?

Yup that gyro not going to help with your "chasing of the tail" and yes your spoiled because of the "better" helis you own. I have the cp pro and i put my g110 on it to no avail. But to answer you question in your blade cp pro manual describes in detail how to set up g90 gyro set up just follow that or dl the manual. Only way to make the cp pro work "right" is to use seperate esc one for main motor and one for rotor motor, doing a search will explain this in more detail.

Thanks for the input. I did look at the manual but some of the posts on other forums suggested other methods. Some claim wild success while others say it was not worth the effort. My wife bought the CP+ as a Christmas gift...thinking I would have something I could fly in the house( I already have 2 CX2's). So anyway...I have it and want to make it perform as well as possible. Dual ESC's eh....hmmm. That's an idea. Then while i'm at it maybe a receiver so I can use my DX6i.

Personally the new cp pro 2 is going to be released at some unknown date and it includes a 2-in1 esc that might be our holy grail to making this little bugger work right, that's what i'm waiting on. Check it out on www.e-flightrc.com

That sounds like a good idea. I heard at our LHS that the CPP2 was due for release January 20...we'll see. But I also think I will wait. Hopefully you are right and the 2 in 1 will work. Also today I went and checked out all the upgrades for the cp+. I now now that if I am not care I could end up paying alot of money for...basically a marginal heli. If I had wanted a near perfect micro it would have been far cheaper to just get a Trex 250 or Guai.

The best way is to yank the 3 in 1 off the Blade, get a Pixie 7 and hook it up. It is possible to use the stock 3 in 1 successfully with the mixing. Stay away from the 2 in 1, the gyro will handle it all.

The Blade can fly well. I can break down the process further if you need me to do so. Let me know.

I hate my cp+. The G110 does not control the tail unless the tail mix is set properly. This is different from the instructions in the manual for the G90.

However, the gyro isn't that great anyway with the existing tail.

Good luck.
