Default Still fly'n my Stinger

Hey guys...Haven't seen any thread's from Ghobee fliers in a while. Thought I'd toss one in. I'm still throw'n mine around in the sky. I had the day off so I went to my field and had fun I entertained a few passer bys too. I burned a half gallon of fuel & my new OS Hyper is runn'n really sweet. Simplly put, it was a great day for me. My Stinger obeys my commands nicelly. My bird aint new & has no telling how many flights & crashes it's had prior to me getting it, but its fun to fly. Yea I'll get a new nitro heli pretty soon, but my Stinger will always be welcome in my hanger ! It's tought me alot & led me to some fine people. Below is a couple cell phone pictures of my day. Sorry for the poor quality.

Good to hear.
I know that there are a bunch of Stinger 50s still flying around.
Most people never tried one to realize just how nice they do fly.

I just finished a complete rebuild of my Stinger 50.
It had been almost 2 years and ~16 cases of fuel since the last crash and there were a lot of parts just getting old and worn. Mainly it was the Hyper rear bearing, the start shaft, main shaft and tail shaft bearings, Both the main and pinion gears, and all of the control links in the head.
She now nice and tight and precise just like it should be.

I had to slap my self when I saw just how worn some of the parts were that I was still flying with.

Normally most of these parts are replaced regularly do to crash repairs and never "wear" out.

I still have mine, I just hope the parts support for it and the Phazor I have continue as it seems like things have really slowed down for Gohbee or at least the boards are slow. Then again I never have anything to post as they fly great and just keep going with basically no issues other than normal wear.

Gohbee is maintaining a good stock of parts for the foreseeable future.
Everyone is slow right now, I'm sure/hope that things will pick up with the economy.
