Default Blade 400 Too hard on landing

I spolled up my Blade 400 and found when I bring the Throttle stick down it hits the ground hard. Is there a way to fix this son that it can be lowered with a little les down force.
Thanks

are you in normal mode(not idle up)?
if so check out the b400 bible for some better pitch curves
I think this is whats recommended in the bible
Pitch Curve: 41/46/50/75/100
Throttle Curve: 0/15/30/45/60

That throttle curve seems a bit on the low side, I would recommend more headspeed not less IMO.

I run a Throttle curve of 0-60-70-80-90 on normal mode.

Two words, collective management - In laymans terms, learn how to use your thumb. It is sensitive as hell, so practice finding the hover point, getting it light on the skids and setting it down softly.

Well, for pitch curves you should set the first point to whatever gives you about -2 degrees of pitch at low throttle, then point 2 should be an interpolation between that number and 50, and then P3 P4 P5 should be 50, 75, 100.

+1 This is what I run with as well. Typical hover is 70-75% throttle with 3-4 of positive pitch, so that curve allows it to be less sensitive in that area.

If you are just hovering.. therefore no windy days.. feel free to try 50-50-50-75-100

Will plop down very gently even at full negative stick!

Also.. check with a pitch gauge to be SURE that you are really at 0 pitch at mid stick!

I've heard some brand new ones so far off they were like +7 or even in the negatives at mid stick.

Amen to that. Go through Sokal's videos and make sure your Blade is mechanically setup correctly.

Yeah, more pitch at lower throttle will make landings nice and cushy.

Keep in mind that if you don't have any negative pitch available the wind will have its way with your poor blade 400 and you may not be able to set it down when you want to if its windy.
