Default out of these Tail and gryos what one would you use?

for the Blade 400 or any other 400 sized heli what of these would you use or do you know will work well?

tail servo:

HS-65 HB
Futaba S3114
DS281

Gryo :

G110
Futaba 190
GY240
GY401

I know the 401 is the best but how about the other's there from cheapest to most expensive.
thanks for any and all input.

It depends of whether you are gonna be flying hard 3D or just FF and, what kind of budget you have. Lots of variables to consider.

I would post your question in the Blade 400 forum for better responses. I only have Blade CPs. Good luck.

I'm still using the original g110 gyro with no problems. I'm doing loops, flips (all directions), stall turns, and limited inverted circuits. I did see the g110 start to give when I tried a sliding stall turn but it was still manageable. I'm using a s3154 on the tail but any comparable tail servo would work. The hs65 and ds281 are not a tail servos. I'm not sure if the s3114 is a tail servo.

still using the stock gyro and non digital/ digital tail servo, just let them get used to the outside temp and they fly fine, if it ain't bust don't fix it, we can all throw money at a problem even when there ain't no problem,

Not trying to be difficult..... here's the facts as I see them. (Please note disclaimer)

2 things make the tail... a good gyro and a strong, fast digital servo.

We'll do the gyro first.
The G110 and the G190 aren't even comparable to the 240 and the 401. If price isn't a factor, there's no question... go with the 401. If you're going to go with the 401, which is about $150 and 27grams, you can get a LogicTech 2100T for $105 and 10grams. The relatively small difference in the for the 2100 eliminates the G110 and the performance takes out the G190.

Now the tail servo.
A strong, fast DIGITAL servo! Fut 9650 or 9257. A little big, but standards in the 400 class (might not fit on a B-400). There are lots of good DIGITAL tail servos, that don't cost much more than the analog equivalent. Don't scrimp here!

The HS-65's are too slow, but have been used.
The 3114's are too light.
The DS..... ???

Read the 400 threads.... the servos need to be replaced!

Choose wisely and buy once!
