Only what's mentioned in the Quark manual. They're calling it the "Fusion EDGE field programming unit", but it's still not released.

I wouldn't mind social media so much if it didn't involve people.

When is the USB or programming card for Quark available? Hopefully it's offered for free for Quark user and we just pay the shipping charge just like CastleLink USB free coupon!

Default Teaser

Before you ask... there is no set release date yet. Obviously the prototype is well advanced state but it will take some time until all parts are sourced and mass production is set up. I will bring the prototype with me at IRCHA Jamboree for anyone who wants to see it.

Default Photos of the prototype unit.

Some progress! We are looking for release late October or November. I will have the prototype with me at IRCHA next week. This clear case is made using stereolithography. The production cases will probably be black. The product name is still under consideration; suggestions welcome.

Cheers,
Angelos

In keeping with the Flash/BlueLink tradition...what about UltraLink?

Or SoloLink (since it's standalone)?

SoloLink sounds good, too.

Just a hint for those suggesting, Angelos likes names that convey the superiority of Spartan products.

Or OmniLink, because you can take it with you everywhere.

My vote is for The Missing Link because it completes the components for the Quark and DS760.

What about DirectLink...

Or maybe "Spartan Control Panel" - similar to the VBar Control Panel
Same concept so terms and meaning are familiar to everybody

Or perhaps "Spartan Display Configuration Module"
similar to MultiGov/Aerospire LCD Display Configuration Module

Angelos posted in another thread that it will eliminate the need for the SLX adaptor as well as acting as a PC connection via USB. The gyro's plug directly into it.

My "OmniLink" suggestion is looking even better. Or maybe SuperLink. What do I win if Angelos picks mine, other that his undying gratitude?

Angelos
My bid for the new config card name would be:
The "Nexus card"
Goes well with the Quark name and nexus means to join or bond.
What do you think?

I like Nexus. It does compliment the Quark name.
