Default DX6i and planks - programming?

I have a DX6i that came with my B400. It came pre-programmed for the heli and there are 9 program positions left. If I wanted to program a plank to mess around with, where would I get the info on how? Really, this is for my dad. I'm going to visit him in a couple of weeks and although he's never owned anything R/C, he's always wanted a biplane. I got this crazy idea that I'd just take my laptop along with my Phoenix RC and my DX6i and let him fly a biplane.

But I can hardly make tweaks to my heli program, let alone create one for a plank. If I wanted to do this, where would I begin? There are a zillion settings just for my heli, but if any manufacturer had step-by-step instructions on programming a DX6i, that would help.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!
Mark

LOL... I have that in hard copy. But I need to find the settings somewhere...

Somebody has to have the settings printed out? Maybe one of the manufacturers?

I'll keep looking.

In regards to radio settings, every airplane is different, just as every heli is different. So, you really have to use the manual to create a new aero model in your radio, and then again, using the manual, work through the screens to get it set up how you want. If you're talking specifically about how to get your DX6i working in Phoenix, I recommend you ask here: https://www.helifreak.com/forumdisplay.php?f=76 Good luck.
