The walkera though if you belive the specs comes in around a full pound lighter than the trex500/.37 conversion.

Sorry if I missed it early on in this thread but what is the AUW of the trex 500 with the .37 conversion?

shawn
But walkera cant do full blown 3d but with the os 37 will do full blown 3d on trex 500. Keep in mind I also have a almost a 450 size helicopter with a .12 engine called helipro black hawk 500 gp and power to ratio sucks.

Hey Finless, I just built my 500 esp.Its done. Thanks for your help, couldnt have done it without you.But now I was told that the bottom main bearing block is supposed to be letters facing down.Someones got paperwork from align to prove it.I know bearings and I dont think it will matter what way the bearings are, but is there going to be a problem with that shoulder? with the orientation of the bottom block or anything? Is yours okay still?...Im just a little worried. In truth, what could possibly be the big f-ing deal?

My heli is a arf but bb opening is facing down from the bottom, and on the top bb it is installed on top facing up.

If you go look at the metal bearing upgrade kit for the original 500 with plastic blocks, the instructions clearly show wording up. When I first saw that kit, I though it should go down due to the little screw on lid that holds the bearing in the block stick up rather high and I was worried the collar would rub.

Finally go look at the ESP manual page 9.
http://video.helifreak.com/?subpath=...=500espman.zip
The drawing of the frame assembly CLEARLY show the screw on lid is on top. The wording for the block is on this screw on cap. So Aligns "documentation" shows wording is up.

Well needless to say mine is wording up like it said and no problems.

I'd like to see this documentation the guy has......

Hi Guys
Can someone please tell me how to get in contact with someone on FlyHeliRus web site to check when conversion kit will be avaliable again and if they post to AUS, cant find any contact info at all on the site, or to another supplier of the conversion kit.

Thanks
Shane.

At the bottom of the page is a link called About Us. Click it and it lists the phone numbers. They are a physical hobby shop and open from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM PDT.

I never bothered, as I didnt feel confortable ordering from the company..
If I come across a website that has no contact details or address details I automatically give them a miss. Even though I googled and found their myspace page with contact details, Im not going to chance it..

Im not even sure they still make the kit anymore.. If you are able to purchase one from them I might reconsider..

I do not understand why your are not seeing contact details when you click about us? Heck the phone number is even on the top banner in the upper left?

I know the owner of this shop and this is my Local Hobby Shop so I can assure you they are OK.

Anyway this is what I get when I click "About us". It has phone number and Email.
