Default New Align Electric Starter

Hey guys, wasn't so sure as to where to put this info, but I guess the T-Rex 700 forum would work

New electric starter from Align is really cool:

Nice Anthony!

Retails for I believe 120 or so, not sure. It should start to ship out of Taiwan now, expect it at retail shops in the next couple of weeks or so hopefully.

Here's the Assurance R/C ad for it. So far the price is 120.99 but until it hits hobby shops that price isn't a set thing. We have seen it change very slightly with other stuff before. But that is probably the right price.

Yeah, that's map pricing. Most dealers do not respect that, so I'm sure it will over time be a little cheaper.

Me thinks you won't be able to fit them in...... 3 cells seem to barely fit as seen in the video.

Looks cool! I have a Dynatron starter now with 14 cell NiMH battery... really tired of hauling that thing around. Weighs probably more than a gallon of fuel . I will most likely buy the Align starter but I'll let you guys test them on the field first .

Over seas dealers selling to the US is why. We can get in trouble if we break the rules though so we don't partake in any of that. But it is just hobby shops trying to survive the over seas guys. :o

Anyway that is not what I meant. What I mean is like when the 450 Super Pro came out Align set a price then so we put it up with that price. Then when we actually got it that day Align set a new price for it. The reason why I think this happens is because they calculate shipping and the price can be adjusted. I doubt seriously anyone will be fighting back and forth for the price of this. This is a pretty standard price for a quality starter and not to mention with this case and even a starter shaft.

Also I think I might have one tomorrow.

Too bad we can not support the U.S. dealers more, I fully understand saving money and also understand what happens to dealers when people buy from china

Starter is rated for up to a 50 engine. Seeing it here in a 90 sized forum I have to ask, has anyone used this thing on a 90 yet?

Uhh, never mind. Should have watched the vid first. Saw in an ad that it was rated for up to a 50.
