Why would they make a 700 and 800e. I thought they would just stick with the 700e. I wonder if the gasser is still coming out?

So any guesses on when this might hit the market?

800E is designed for aerial video/photo. I've seen it in SolidWorks 2 months ago but have to keep it secret. Hope it will be released soon. I want one :-)

and RCH reports:
NEW: Avant Aurora 90 Electric at 2009 IRCHA Jamboree

Posted by Anthony Lawson on Thursday, August 13th 2009
Touted as a true “native electric 90 design”, the Avant Aurora 90E officially splashed onto vendor row late Thursday. The 90 electric market has really taken off this season and Avant has answered those wishes with a electric flavor of their popular nitro heli.

The Aurora 90E features a fixed electric gear ratio that is designed for approx 500kv motors in mind. The heli on display this week had a Scorpion 4035-500 motor installed along with a Castle HV110 ESC.

One thing different about the Aurora 90 Electric is the battery mouting and placement. Similar to the MA Ion-X which mounts both batteries inside the frame on one side up front. The Avant mounts one battery on each side of the frame. Both batteries are surrounded by frame and in mild crashes will be protected from damage to the battery packs.

Jason Bell with Team Avant is on hand this weekend to perform some demo flights with the new 90E on Friday and Saturday.

Do you know when the 700e will be released and if the parts are compatible with the 700 n?

800E is it going to be 18s? Is there an ESC that can handle that?

I don't see the need for a 700E designed and built from scratch when Align can just make a conversion kit for the 700N, swap out a few nitro stuffs and call it 700E.
