Hi,

Yes I know it's a heli forum, but some of you also fly planes. That's why I like to share this one with those who do.
And yes it's actually fun to do something different than creating heli schemes

Created Custom Pack for the PhoenixRC turbine F-16.

Custom Pack includes:

1) Three new turbine sounds, turbine.wav, turbine_idle.wav, turbine_idle2.wav, turbine_slow.wav
2) Three new schemes.
3) Two variants, one fast 1250+ kph (Thanks Whopper!) and one about 50% slower.
4) One PXE file with new sound profile settings.

Looks good and sounds good, but what I would like to know is. How does this new turbine sound when you increase the pitch?
Does it sound like a more realistic scale jet turbine than the one that is currently working in Phoenix Rc?
I think the Phoenix one sounds really annoying with it's oscillating swish swish sound. Totally unlike a real scale jet turbine sound which is strangely satisfying to the ears (IMO).

Did you check the vid? The beginning of the vid shows the takeoff.

The sound pitch increases the further you open the throttle. It can be set in the PXE file. The PXE is not completely clear to me yet. Hope support will reply to the mail I sent them about it.

I just finished installing the F16 and did a couple high speed passes and I have got to say that I am totally blown away.

The models look great and the turbine sound effects you created are freaking wicked.

Beside the beauti of the model, look at that speed. Here is one for you guys, try to fly it with a headphone. Unbeliveble.
