Default Static discharge mod question

Is it worth doing the static discharge mod on the hc500 with the g10 frame or not necessary? I don't know much on it so any input is appreciated, such as how to do it and causes of it. Since I'm already benched I might as well do what I can to get it ready. Thanks

G10 does not conduct electricity. So IMO it is not needed.

Me either with mine, although I have to admit when building the HC500,I sanded the tail boom where it meets the boom clamps and also where the tail housing bolts through. I also used some silicone shock oil from my RC touring cars on the belt before I installed it. All of this for insurance sake, figured that it wouldn't hurt anyways.Fly safe!!
