Default Water proof

Can you believe this...........While flying around the house, I had a moment of temporary memory loss and the MSR landed upside down in the dogs water bowl. . I figured it was a loss but pulled it from the water and pulled the bat power and shook it off, got the wifes hair dryer and blew the water off and dried it well. Presto it flys like a champ.

I did the same, only I did mine after the wife said...." you should cover up the dogs dish your gonna wreck that thing" well....it still works fine, never did tell her what I did.

I crashed mine into the kitchen sink which was filled with soapy water and dirty dishes one day. Didn't hurt it at all. Like you, I just quickly disconnected the battery, I then took it out to the garage, and used compressed air to dry it completely. Flew fine once it was dry...

Wow I'm not sure if you are lucky, or I am unlucky.

I have fried an MCX 5-in-1 and my CX2's AR6100E and 3-in1 because of tall wet grass and mud. =(

Cool Good intentions

I tried it, with all kind of floats..better be perfect landing. Mcx and CX3..no way, sunk both, dried out, flew good for a while...died! My largest area to fly is my screened in pool area and couldn't resist, should have. You better be 1 hell of a pilot...Dave

If you want to float fly, and protect electronics, Corrosion X. Just spray it on, or dip it in.
I fly float planes, used this and have not fryed a ESC from water, and no more db.l bagging reciver.
I know it works, crashed into a dock that jumped out in front of me, went to pick up the pieces, AR7000 reciver was under water lit up, Then I tried servos just for kicks, and they worked.
Has some mosture in the back of DX7, applied to Q tip and sperad all over circut boards. The problems I had, went away.
